Background and Purpose: Adolescents are individuals who are experiencing a transition period from childhood to adulthood which is marked by physical and mental maturity. Mental health disorders or depression are psychiatric problems that are prone to occur in teenagers. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between coping abilities and mental health in teenagers at Sanjiwani Vocational School, Gianyar. 

Method: Using quantitative methods with a Cross-Sectional design. The sample used was 166 people. The sampling technique used in this research was Probability Sampling, namely Stratified Random Sampling. The type of tool used in data collection is a questionnaire on coping abilities and mental health. 

Results: The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents had good coping abilities, namely 80 people with normal mental health of 48.2%, while 38 respondents had poor coping abilities with abnormal mental health of 22.9%. The results of statistical tests obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a relationship between coping abilities and mental health among teenagers at Sanjiwani Vocational School, Gianyar.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between coping abilities and mental health in adolescents at Sanjiwani Vocational School, Gianyar.
